Bill Chrysler
Country Club General Manager/Director of Golf
Bill comes to El Conquistador from Bellingham, Washington where he was the Chief Operating Officer of Homestead Northwest, Incorporated. Homestead NW Inc. is a resort development company that specializes in golf and waterfront resorts.
Bill began his career as an Assistant Golf Professional in Florida relocating to the Pacific NW where he climbed the ranks from Head Golf Professional of Homestead Farms Golf Resort (a subsidiary of Homestead NW) to General Manager before being promoted to Chief Operating Officer of Homestead NW, Inc.

Bernard Garnier
Country Club Food & Beverage Manager
Originally from Atlanta, GA, Bernard has lived in Tucson for 15 years now and graduated the University of Arizona in MIS. Bernard began his hospitality career at the Omni Tucson National as the Director of Outlets for two years and then progressed his journey to the Hilton El Conquistador Resort as the Director of Recreation. Bernard then accepted the position of Food & Beverage Manager and just recently took the well anticipated move to the Hilton El Conquistador Country Club as Food & Beverage Manager.
Bernard enjoys every aspect of his position and doesn’t see that changing with his 12 years of restaurant/hospitality experiance– HE LOVES WHAT HE DOES AND SO WILL YOU!!! He has also been named Manager of the Quarter in 2007 along with many other recognitions. He is a member of the Relay for Life Cancer Foundation and in his free time Bernard enjoys anything from Cooking to Off -Roading!!!

Clyde Nakasone
Catering & Tournament Sales Manager
Originally from Hawaii, born and raised on the island of Oahu, Clyde has made his way to Tucson, Arizona and the Hilton El Conquistador in December 2005.
Clyde brings over 19 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including five years with the Hilton Corporation. Being the dedicated Catering and Local Tournament Sales Manager specific for the El Conquistador Country Club has been an extremely rewarding experience allowing him to be able to continue his career within the Hilton culture. Seeing the familiar faces of all the country club members and members of the community has made Clyde’s responsibilities a most enjoyable experience. |

Jennifer Fuchs
Director of Tennis
Jennifer has held the position of Director of Tennis for the El Conquistador Country Club & Resort since 1999 and is the President of the USTA/SAZ District. A former world class touring pro, she has distinguished herself as an outstanding player.
As a junior, Jennifer became the number one ranked player in the nation. Following her junior career, she played two years at UCLA, becoming a two time All-American.
Having played all the major events and grand slams as a touring professional from 1988 through 1993, Jennifer reached the round of sixteen in the Australian Open Doubles of Championship of 1989. Along with her professional training and background, Jennifer brings a vibrant and enthusiastic teaching style to the tennis court. |

Mary Leonardi
Assistant Sports & Fitness Supervisor
Although rare, Mary IS a Tucson native. Prior to her position at the El Conquistador Country Club, she held the position as Membership Director for 13 years at another local country club.
Mary is a huge advocate for community relations. For the past 25 years she has spent time as a volunteer at many different local organizations. She has received awards such as an FBI Community Service Award, the YMCA JOHN 17:21 Award and the Silver Award from the League of United Latin American Citizens. Mary is also part of the Guest Relations Committee within the Hilton El Conquistador. |
Michelle Keilin
Membership Director
Michelle moved to Tucson 23 years ago to attend the University of Arizona from Canton, OH. Beginning her employment with the El Conquistador in 1989, Michelle previously was a Guest Service Agent at the El Conquistador Resort, Assistant Racquet Club Manager and now in her current position of Membership Director.
As most of her co-workers, Michelle truly enjoys the interaction with her co-workers, members and guests. Michelle stays active in the community as a member of the Northern Pima Country Chamber of Commerce, member and current Vice President of the Tucson TriGirls and also a member of the Greater Arizona Bicycle Association.
Michelle loves to stay active and is an avid cyclist and participates in many triathlons throughout the year. |
